About Us

Sterling Stoneworks & Restoration

Sterling Stoneworks provides restoration, remodel and repair services to Centre County and the surrounding areas. With a focus on traditional stone work and carpentry, we are a resource to historic homeowners as well as anyone who has a unique construction or repair project. We bring a wide range of talents to the table that include masonry, welding, stained glass, and woodworking.

Our Vision

We would like to see the historic character of the area preserved for the future. Our intent is to continue assisting and educating the local community in repair and maintenance of both interior and exterior aspects of their real property.

Nathan received his welding certification from CPI in 2004 and was trained and certified in GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (STICK) welding. He also has a strong background in carpentry and woodworking. 

Maria is a 2005 graduate of Penn State with a BA in English. She apprenticed for several years with a local master mason and is interested in all aspects of traditional stone work. She also does stained glass mosaics as a hobby.

We have been partners in this venture and friends for over 10 years. We continue to challenge, poke, prod, question, annoy, and inspire each other as only good friends can do.
